Some looks are beautiful, some nasty.
GLOWERING WAS WHAT SHE DID


Time was when we were married
And walked conjugal path,
But that path was too full of
Wild tempers and vile wrath.

It’s not that I tortured her,
But she did thus perceive.
Someone could be kind to her,
She could never believe.

She lived in a world full of
Wild imagination.
She did not, to pour venom,
Need an invitation.

This is what I often say,
Thinking of my ex-wife:
Glowering was what she did
Best ever in her life.
