A Saraband for the Poetry Harvest
Great Gifts

The source of joy since time began
was two great gifts God gave to man.
How wondrous is His master plan.

The first gift he gave was man’s mind
where wisdom and skill are defined,
but greater’s the gift to the heart
for love is what sets us apart.
