The slap stick comedy of Mel Brooks comes to life in this hilarious and outrageous adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Called upon by the Will of his late Great Grandfather, Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (prounounced Fronk-en-steen)embarks on a journey of experimental magnitude "following in his grandfather's bootsteps!"

From Teri Garr having a "roll in ze hay!" to Marty Feldman wondering about "what hump?" Frederick is enquiring about, the entire cast proves they were at their peak of entertainment.

Adults of all ages and those with a sense of wonder for slap stick and off hand comedy.

There is no one thing I can pin point about this movie that stands out above anything else. From the first few moments to the last lines of the film, every moment will make you snicker, giggle and laugh out loud until you need a moment to catch your breath.

this is one of the few films that Mel Brooks did not write solely. With the help of Gene Wilder, the two wrote a movie funnier than the famed AIRPLANE!

The only thing I would say is that there is some crude humor for adults only, so this would not be recommended for children.
