Summary of this Book...
It is easy to imagine the world the author created in the pages of Requiem. After the collapse of the economy there is rampant pillaging and plundering in the cities and towns. There is a shortage of food and the soup kitchen is running out so fast that many are left to starve and the ones that don’t are normally the ones up front of the lines pushing, shoving, and being abusive. The weak and poorest of all are left defenseless.

In this story there are two kinds of angels. The fallen and the heavenly. Seir is one of the fallen, but there is more to his story than meets the eye. He is not your typical fallen angel. Ava runs the soup kitchen and goes to Seirs establishment (that use to be a restaurant) and request stores and other food items that might help her to save the starving. Little does she know that to make any kind of agreement with the fallen and it will be your undoing. Even the smallest of agreements with them have their cost.

Seir is fighting to control having a relationship with Ava against her heavenly guardians. They want her to stay away from the dark side and the dark side wants her dead. She is something no one understands. Maybe a mix of angel and human or a mix of the fallen and the heavenly. No one knows for sure, but neither side wants to take any chances in her learning of her own power and using to her advantage.

Noir does an amazing job of telling the story that is older than time. The battle of good versus evil. It is intense and will open your eyes to the power that is around us every day all day long. This is a truly great book. It is riveting and will cast a spell on you from the moment you begin to read to the minute you put it down. She does an amazing job of introducing you to the good and the bad in the other world not our own, but a part of it. I have one suggestion for you… Read it.
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone interested in Angels, demons, love, fighting, battles, wars, and hope
I especially liked...
The fact that Seir was good at heart and was battling himself more than angels or demons. He knew he was not like the others and kept trying to figure out what set him apart.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Read book two if there is one.
This Book made me feel...
Like there is hope for the good guys (angels) in this world full of hate and anguish.
The n/a of this Book...
Is very talented. I could not believe this was a breakout book. She has a long career ahead of her.
I recommend this Book because...
It is so well written and because I believe in Heaven and in hell. I believe in the fallen and the heavenly beings. It was like a true story for me.
