Summary of this Book...
For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime to live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen Leaving her home to enter acompetition for a crown she doesn't want.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Slowly, she starts to realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined.
This type of Book is good for...
romance and action lovers, and those who also enjoy dystopian. Romance is the main section of the story, but the action is slightly there with the rebel attacks and the dystopian of the caste systems is easily seen.
I especially liked...
the dystopian. It added more feel to the book than just romance. The romance was good as well, though, it was cute and touching, but to me, the caste system and all the dystopian elements was amazing!
I recommend this Book because...
of all the romance elements, but just enough to satisfy readers of other genres. I really like their relationship, America and Maxon and the secret that America holds deep away from Maxon. The romance was amazing, and that's all I can say! America didn't like Maxon at first and acts very rudely to him, but soon, they start to warm up and things get very interesting!
Further Comments...
The setting had something missing; there, for some reason, just wasn't enough for me. I can't put my finger on it, but the book focused much more on the characters (which is still good!), and less on the setting. And with me, as I love descriptions and world-building, it wasn't enough. It was a great setting though!
