Summary of this DVD...
I went to the new Star Trek movie this past weekend. Ok, I guess I’m what you would call a trekkie, so shoot me. I have

been watching Star Trek since the sixties. I have always loved the TV series and all the movies that followed. To my

great expectations, this one did not disappoint. With its gut twisting action, mind-blowing special effects, and true to

the characters we have come to know and love.

These are the movie mistakes that I caught while I went to see it a second time. I actually had to go twice to confirm

what I thought I had seen the first time so as not to be mistaken. Not, to mention that I just had to see it again, it was

that good.

When Kirk, played by Chris Pine, meets Dr. McCoy, played by Carl Urban, on the shuttle watch how McCoy’s shoulder strap

keeps changing. First, it is smooth then it is not, then it is smooth again, and then it is not.

When Kirk is sneaking around the Romulan ship, just before the battle between him and Nero, played by Eric Bana, he has a

Romulan gun in his hand, which is the same gun he gets a little later while fighting the Romulan first officer.

The best and easiest one to notice is the one with Spock. Towards the end of the movie, Spock is beamed to the

Enterprise from the other ship. When we first see Spock, just before beaming, he is in a sitting position. When you see

him, again on the transporter pad he is in a standing position. What is so strange about this is that every one else is in

the same position they started in.

I cannot wait until this one comes out on DVD, which I would assume would not be until late summer. This is one I will

definitely want to watch over and over. I certainly hope that they have already considered making a second one; I will be

the first one in line to watch it.

Star Trek must have pleased more than just me, but also quite a few fans this past weekend. It brought in a generous $76

million dollars for its opening. I am anxious to see just how well it does against the other soon to be released summer

block busters. Nice!

Further Comments...
When I watch a movie that I want to review I also look for hidden Movie Mistakes. I love to do this. I used to write for Bella Online and I was the Movie Mistakes Editor. After doing this you just help but notice.
