Summary of this DVD...
Two 90's teenagers get sucked into Pleasantville, an old 50's squeaky-clean TV show a la Donna Reid, Leave It to Beaver, Lassie, etc.

Living in a black and white world is apparently really difficult when you're used to speaking your mind and getting wild. Slowly, the teens begin to bring the town out of it's fake-pleasant rut. Colors begin to appear all over town, which leads to vandalism and segregation ("No coloreds allowed" i.e. people who are now in full color as opposed to black and white).
I especially liked...
Ah! Nostalgia! When I saw this movie was on Netflix, I knew that I was going to watch it. Last night, I finally took the time to rewatch. I saw it a few times in high school and thought it was clever and amusing (if a bit heavy-handed at times).

I still think about the same thing... except that I don't find it quite as clever now and think it had VERY heavy-handed elements. This time, I also just found the movie much more visually interesting than I did at the time. The mix of black and white with a few bright pops of color... loved the look of it.
