A young autistic boy investigates the death of a neighbor's dog and makes a few shocking discoveries along the way.

People who love a good mystery. Anyone who wants to read a novel from a unique perspective. Any Mark Haddon fans out there should definitely give this novel a spin.

The way that our young detective is portrayed in very much the leading, if not one of the leading roles in this novel. Portraying people with disabilities in a way that's not usually seen.

Never happy at the death of a doggie, especially if they die in a violent manner. Some reactions of people to our young detective. Some family drama. A bit of cursing, not overly much if I recall correctly.

Pat the author on the back for a very intriguing read. I wouldn't have minded a sequel.

It gave me another way to view people who have autism from what society at large/media may say about it.

Really kept things interesting right up to the end.

You don't generally see too many novels out there that depict people with disabilities a s amain character or in general/positive light. Nice change of pace.
