It is one of the best books ever written. It is a horror novel, true, but its themes delve so much deeper than one might expect. It is a must read for everyone.

I recently had the privilege of re-reading this classic for a Literature class. It struck me in a new, much deeper way than it had in previous readings. So much of Shelley's own pain and anger resides in this story, rife with meaning. If you've never taken the time to read it, I highly recommend that you do. You'll find more substance to Shelley's creation that you ever expected.
