Summary of this DVD...
After separating from his girlfriend, Matt is struggling to move on with other women and decides that he will give up all forms of sexual contact for lent in a bid to get himself back to normal again. But no sooner has his challenge begun, he meets Erica at the local laundrette and consequently starts to fall for her. In addition, his friends who have all found out about his antics thanks to the indiscretion of his roommate, have started to run a betting pool on how long he will last without sex. Not wanting to prove them wrong, Matt soldiers on - but the consequences may turn out to be dramatic and drastic!
This type of DVD is good for...
People who like romantic comedies, American comedies about young people, silly comedies.
I especially liked...
It was easy to watch and to follow and the lead guy in it is quite attractive.
I didn't like...
The fact that in general, the film is quite ridiculous and implies that most people spend their whole lives thinking of nothing but sex. It also makes the male species seem quite simple and stupid!! Overall, I think the movie is pretty sexist and generalistic and unfortunately this overrides most of the humour in it.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Meet a cute guy in the laundrette.
This DVD made me feel...
Irritated.
I recommend this DVD because...
It's good if you want to watch something light-hearted with fit actors in it, if you are not in the mood to watch anything more serious. There are a few funny moments.
I don't recommend this DVD because...
It does border on the ridiculous and I don't know if anyone could actually relate to the characters in this movie! The humour is often far too silly and the characters unbelievable.
