The weekend is here! Any plans? One of my friends is on vacay and traveled to Italy. Can't wait to see her pics. I went to Venice back 1997 as part of a tour through the military at the time. What a beautiful city.

As fotr my weekend, I'm just hoping to survive it. I'm helping out at the bowling alley with the youth leagues. Then I'm in a bowling tournament, sleep, eat, work at night, then I pre scheduled overtime Sunday morning. More sleeping... Hopefully I can fit in some GREEN and corned beef somewhere!

Smiles to all!

We (my mother, brother, and I) have three cats.

1) Shy, a male Siamese mix
2) Pony, a male white moggy with charcoal-grey splotches
3) Lily, a female brown tabby

We got Pony and Lily at the animal shelter in June of 2019: Pony was three months old and Lily was two months old. My brother and I had put down Pony's number, but the shelter employee accidentally took out Lily instead. My brother and I were so enchanted that we decided to bring home two kittens instead of one. Pony and Lily are very close and friendly with each other, even though they occasionally play-fight. We think it's almost certain that Pony and Lily think of themselves as brother and sister.

Shy came into our lives during a rainstorm in 2017 (if I recall correctly). He was drenched and looked abandoned. He is very timid around strangers and quite close to my brother.
Kit - I have one dog named Ollie. He's a yellow lab and boy he's got a lot of energy and I have none! haha. He goes to doggie daycare 2x a week and thankfully he stopped eating the couches! We have a stray cat that lays on our patio couch on the porch. I call him Gus.
Gentillylace - they sound beautiful how sweet.

UPDATE: From the Self-Publishing World

The Wolf's Torment Cover

My original small press for this title went out of business in 2018, and between real life and working on my extensive back log of titles I have an update on my classic, "The Wolf's Torment."

Re-read and small content edit complete. Need one final re-read before going to formatter. Still need ISBN's for the ebook and print edition, but I bought a block of 10 so it's easy to assign. Copyright acquired. 300 dpi cover work acquired. I anticipate this going to the formatter within the week!

StephBee - It's finally sunny here following a couple months of rainy, cloudy, windy weather. I got my Florida back. *Bigsmile*

Those little bandits! *Laugh* I've actually seen them hanging out at a 7-11 panhandling. They didn't have a tin cup, but they stood lined up outside the store hoping for a treat. *Rolling*
~MysticMoon~aka SilverMoon - A Gyros?

Oh, you meant the little lamb ... *Thought*

*Witch*
Ԝ€ß☆ԜiʈCH - Oh, man, I've seen them panhandling at the 7-11 at Devonshire & Topanga on my way to work! They get around! *Laugh* Glad that Florida weather is back!!
What's your favorite Shakespearean Play?

I like Romeo and Juliet. I am a hopeless romantic.
I like the sayings attributed to Shakespeare such as brevity is the soul of wit and we know what we are , but know not what we may be . How many of us have heard vanish into thin air, or wild goose chase? He played with language.
Being the Romantic I am, for me, it's Romeo and Juliet. *Heart* I totally enjoyed Kiss Me, Kate which is a modern day Taming of the Shrew - kinda -- and I loved the 1968 movie of Romeo and Juliet.
What's your Zodiac and what is the #1 most trait about your zodiac that sez "you!"

I'm a Gemini and I can honestly say I'm definately intellectually curious! I can be quick-witted and then there are times I'm slow-witted. Probably because I realize I should shut up because I don't know how to respond and I don't want to put my foot in my mouth.

And trust me -- when Mercury is in Retrograde I feel it. *Smirk2*

Detective - it also means your steadfast, which is good thing, right?

Found this online=
There are crucial, if subtle, differences between the two. To be steadfast is to be faithful to what we know to be true, without a need to explain or justify that truth, but simply to live it. To be stubborn is to resist views and truths other than our own, to avoid the challenge of growth.
Scorpio here. Lol
~MysticMoon~aka SilverMoon - Yeah, I think that's usually an Aries trait, but not necessarily one of the more talked about one.

I name all my stuffed animals "Fluffy." *BigSmile*
  •   8 comments
I hope you all mean "toy" stuffed animals, unless maybe you are a taxidermist. *SHOCK*

I would do that naming, but they all insist on each being a unique animal. I'm too old to argue with all of them.
🌕 HuntersMoon - Do we have a secret Sultan with a massive harem. You must have quite a collection of honeys!
I love naming my stuffies. My very first Fluffy is my only one: a McDonalds Happy Meal The Dog pug, from 2005. You can still find them on eBay, but I've got my original. He's been barfed on and washed a couple times, and his faux leather nose peeled, but he's still a cutie *BigSmile* (A few years later I found another one at a thrift store, and I named him Tuffy. They're twin brothers *InLove2*)
