We're about halfway through "Game of Thrones" and it's been a wild ride so far. I really enjoy multi-part challenges, and the strategy involved in succeeding in this activity is next-level. There are so many things to do, it's easy to get lost in the weeds if you don't pay close attention and work well with your team. Thankfully, I've got the best team around! The bond I have with my fellow Free Folk is my favorite part of the game so far; their commitment to following all the crazy ideas I have (and even trying some of their own!) has been so much fun. I'm really glad that Gaby ~ Keeper Of The Realm decided to dust off this activity and run it again. |
I really think the team part is the best one in this game. Without communication, and some real fun, this game is nothing. |
I have successfully completed Door #5 in "Game of Thrones" ! What does that mean? It means I still have 16 doors left to go before the end of the month... As the King-Beyond-the-Wall of the Free Folk, our sacred mission is to overcome all those Kneelers south of the wall, huddling together in their petty little Houses. The Free Folk currently have zero cheers in the main "Game of Thrones" forum, so we're scraping our points together the old fashioned way. In the words of Monty Python: Our chief weapon is surprise! Surprise and fear. Our two weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency! Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency... and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope!" Okay, well, maybe not that last one... Come to think of it, that scene pretty much sums up Jaeramee of the Free Folk and Jaeyne of the Free Fab Five and me and our entire interaction with this Game of Thrones so far. You know, cheers might not be such a bad idea after all... |
Boo! Keep your coins and your cheers. The Free Folk don’t want a bought crown. Just a bent and slightly bloodied one |
The King Beyond the Wall ▼ speaks the truth! He, who does not require a knee to be taken and his trusty first Wildlings Jaeyne & Jaeramee ▼ are coming for you from the True North like an avalanche. In the meantime, I Aennaytte ▼ am quietly doing my best over here, having crossed the threshold of Door #5 yesterday to prepare for My King ▼ 's arrival. |
The acronym CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. As part of "Game of Thrones" I've been challenged to come up with something else it can stand for, so I humbly present you with: Certified Panda Reflexologist |
Think you're familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Why not give my little crossword a try and see if you can name all 30 prominent characters from the MCU (both films and television)!

In the past three months, I've done 100+ reviews (thanks in no small part to "Anniversary Reviews" and the site's new Weekly Achievement MBs for review streaks!). It's reminded me of how many great items are here on Writing.com for anyone willing to search for them. Of those items I've read and reviewed so far in 2024, some of my favorites have been: "Into the Wild Black Yonder" [13+] by St. Patrickraken An imaginary excursion inside a black hole's event horizon. "The Troublemaker" by Lilith of House Martell "Cycles" [E] by Writer_Mike Haiku-like description of nature and life (Rd 1 Personal-ku entry) "Joke's on You" [13+] by Lovina ~ House Martell Dark Dreamscapes Poetry Contest Entry April 2021 "She Called Me Daughter" [E] by Endless Enigma Nature renews itself as well as the human soul. "The Wolfman on the Prowl" [E] by Magoo A beast was lurking in the darkness. "Orbit One" [E] by Odin's Path A short story set in space. Feedback appreciated. "My Biggest Fan" [13+] by Sam N. Yago A man and his estranged father reconnect at a funeral. If you have some time, please check them out. I'm sure any one of them would love to receive a review! |
Excellent, Jaeff | KBtW of the Free Folk ! Outstanding stats, and I haven't read anything on this list yet! Looks like it's time for me to get on with my anniversary reviewing! |
Wow! That's a lot of reviewing! Awesome job!!! Thank you for adding my short poem to your list. I'm glad you liked it! |
Jeff, Jeff! You can do this! I'm right where you are at. If you don't submit a new entry for "Wonderland" soon, I'm gonna overtake you! |
You're definitely going to have me beat this year, but I'm rooting for you! |
Jaeff | KBtW of the Free Folk - Ah, no! What fun is it doing it alone? No one is running anymore. By the way, it's Easter morning from my side of the world. Happy Easter! |
Dear Jaeff | KBtW of the Free Folk, You are cordially invited to The Mad Hatter's Tea Party in conjunction with Happy Mad Day where it's always 3pm. Forget about homework and deadlines. Let's just sip tea and snack on tea biscuits all day long while listening to the Mad Hatter's nonsense. It's time to shrink our brain and be happy.
