Dark Poetry
Hell, evil, dark devices.
The knife that cuts the sword that slices.
The wind that howls with bitter chill,
the toxic stew, the poison pill.
Death, damnation, straight to Hell
a long dark drop into a well.
Trapped in darkness, burned alive,
allergic reaction beneath a hive.
Screams in pain shouted loud,
deafening silence from the departed crowd.
Scrambled madness is all that’s left,
with wilted flowers from their bereft.
