I wrote this in 1997
His sad eyes haunt my every waking hour. His fading smile burns my heart. His confused soul confuses mine. Though I am tired I cannot sleep. I am hungry, yet cannot eat. These eyes of mine won't cry, even so sadness fills my soul. Friendship bound by lovers lost. Confessions of the unconscious. Secrets of the heart hidden in a lost treasure box. Along with your unrelinquished love. May your soul feel no pain. Lost in this dream of yesterday not even thine soul makes sense. Here's my love I give it to you. May it treat you better then you treated me.
