Counting my blessings
This sig was gifted to me from a kind friend.

****SECOND PLACE WINNER IN SENIOR CONTEST. WOOHOO!****

God blessed me with a mother’s touch,
and with a father who is always there;
A family I treasure so very much,
with wonderful memories to share.

Cherishing our families should come easily.
I hold mine closely to my heart every day.
I feel grateful for every precious memory
that’s etched in my mind and there to stay.

My mother’s love was unconditional and true;
my father worked hard for the family.
There isn’t a thing they didn’t see us through;
admirable traits that were passed on to me.

Cherishing our families brings joy to the heart,
and is something no one can take away.
Whether we may be near or far apart,
that love only grows from day to day.

My mother’s gone now, but lives on in my soul;
my father’s floundering, but still there for me.
Passing these things on to my children is my goal,
for what more could be cherished than family?
