A child taken.
YOU CAN’T HAVE HIM!
He is my child.
I carried him.
I cared for him.
I gave him life.

GIVE HIM BACK!
I don’t need your permission
To love him.
To spend time with him.
To be his mother.

KISS MY ASS!
I am a good mother.
I fed him.
I clothed him.
I nursed his wounds.

Clean houses do not homes make.
Laundry piled
Dishes undone
Trash needs to be taken out.

But I still had time to play with my son.
The museum
An outing
Trips to the park

YOU CAN’T TAKE HIM!
I promise I will do better.
I will do dishes.
I will mop floors.
I will do laundry.

Any order you give.
Any demand you make.
I will follow it.
Just please let me have my son.

I’m Sorry.
