This written in a view of a girl's broken heart after her boyfriend broke up with her.
I don’t see what you want in me
Or what you found in me
Because I am empty
Unfulfilled
A hopeless soul with invisible tears

Unseen to the naked eye

It glides down my cheek
A cold feeling to my shoulders

My tear - so cold
Like this blade
Like my heart

I never quite understand
This life
The way people can live
Hurting – killing

I need to find the concept
The dream – the works
But where?
How?

The darkness crept into my heart
Hearing nothing
But the beating through my veins

Ah! These tears are nothing compared to the pain on my wrist
The pain in my heart
It’s not even close the sting of your words
This is nothing, nowhere close to my misery

Here, the darkness washes my happiness
Paints over my smiles
And drowns my laughter
Here is where my life once begun
