novel of my life and abuse, living through it, the story continues, chapter one
MOMENTARY SOLACE

Only for a moment an easing of grief,
do these nightmares begin to cease.
Scattered here and there but no relief,
stop this torment for me please.

I go to bed I do not dream,
I toss and turn in my restless sleep,
I wake myself when I scream,
as I lay here in a heap.

I jump out of bed to my feet,
kneel down to pray " Dear Lord please".
Hear how strong and loud my heart beats,
I just want a little peace.

Momentary solace is all I ask,
please give me just one restfull night,
I'm not asking for it to last,
when closing my eyes I see a peaceful sight.
