Something I wrote at work
Riding to the distance,
Moving on and on,
Searching for a way,
To this new dawn.

Riding through the stars,
Flying to the night,
Soaring in the clouds,
Trying to keep in sight.

Landing in the field,
Jumping from the mount,
Running to the door,
Too many to count.

Walking through the room,
Aiming for the one,
The one that will bring us,
To a new light.

Brushing past the many,
All of them fake,
Moving to the centre,
For everyone's sake.

Rearing back it's neck,
Emitting a howl,
Crouching down low,
Raising it's cowl.

Lunging through the gap,
Trying to escape,
It's simple life is over
fate has now decided.

Bonding with the rider,
Burning into new heights,
Erased from the world,
The darkness has fled.

The world born anew,
The darkness kept at bay,
By the rider's will,
The light shall never fail.
