Being the oldest boy in a family of nine siblings, has its ups and downs.

My Siblings

Do you remember my little brother's?
Just to keep warm we slept together.
The house got cold without any heat.
Slept together we'd sometimes sleep.

I've missed the days of the family love.
Sisters and brothers with God above.
Had the joy to be loved by each other.
So respected by sisters and brothers.

They say blood is thicker than water.
So all my siblings aren't any bother.
They're siblings each and every one.
I love them all there's no favorite one.

A period of time all have moved away.
All that is left is mom and dad today.
It'll take a death to reunite once again.
Let's ask God for blessings he'll send.

My brother's and sister's please pray.
Ask God to send blessings our way.
We've been blessed as a family so far.
He will not forsake us under the stars.
