I am a Door

"I am the Door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved."
          (John 10:9)

The words echoed in her head. Then, there was a loud pop,
like a broom handle hitting the floor. She openned her eyes
and looked down on his fallen body. Could this be real or
was she dreaming? She was standing nude over his body.

The corpse was on the floor behind the desk. A chair beside it.
There was a gun still gripped in his right hand. She picked up
a note on the desk. It was a quote from the Apostle John 10:9.
A startling fear came over her, "Am I his Ghost?"

She dropped the note and watched it fall onto the crumpled business
suit of the dead man. There was something different about the dead
man. He seemed less familiar the memory faded. She stood
staring at her bare feet, then gazed up to her nakedness: "Am I a
          hooker?"

She had to find a mirror. There was none in the dead man's office.
Outside the office was a crowded room of cubical office space. A
woman seated to the right of the door gasped, "Get back in there."
The secretary: the naked woman supposed. The secretary grabbed
her arm and pulled. Other people in the office begain to notice.
They rose and stared over their cubicals at the two women struggling.

"I'm calling your boss." the secretary cussed under her breath as she
dragged the naked woman back into the office. The scream brought
other office workers over. "What have you done?!" the secretary
looked accusingly at the naked woman. "No.. I don't know
what's happening." she started to turn away, a man covered her with
his jacket: "Hey aren't you that Obama girl?'

Yes. She remembered. Her agent had asked her to meet a friend at
this Wall Street office. "It was suicide! I'm just a @Baby Doll!" she
fell to her knees. The police gave her a NYPD sweat suit with a
SWAT cap. No charges were filed.
