A tribute to those who guard our fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery
dsadsadsadsa

The Old Guard…

In Arlington our soldiers rest;
they fought our wars for those oppressed.
We honor them and share their grace –
pay tribute with a resting place.

In recognition of their deeds,
we post our sentries - for all creeds.
With sense of purpose, soldiers come
to volunteer with flag and drum.

They march upon God’s hallowed ground.
The Old Guard tends, without a sound.
Our sentinels for brave ones, gone.
With honor, bound - they carry on.

As families gather in their grief
they mourn their loss, yet find relief
in knowing that the Old Guard’s there.
To share – to safeguard – loved one's prayers…
