Songs, Movie, and More entry: 10 soap operas
It had always been Ryan’s Hope to move to Dallas and become part of the Cowboys football Dynasty. Before leaving he professed his unending love for me, saying he would come back to Las Vegas for me and All My Children, take us to Texas with him and provide for us for all the rest of the Days of Our Lives. He’d come back for us as soon as he got into the organization and could give us the life he thought we deserved.

In the Dark Shadows of my mind, I knew something was wrong when he calls became less and less frequent. I was shocked when I found out about his indiscretions with the Desperate Housewives, Cagney & Lacey. They were both beautiful women, and I knew Ryan was as lonely as I was, but I never expected this kind of thing from him. He was doing well with the Cowboys organization but the stress was just too much for him. His Passions ran high for both of these women, but there was an underlying problem. Ryan had started drinking heavily and said the alcohol clouded his thoughts and caused his adulterous behavior. After calling me one night with this explanation, he immediately checked himself into General Hospital for rehab. After 30 days he called me to say he had found his Guiding Light and had realized he only had One Life to Live, and that he wanted to spend it with me and the kids.

We decided to reconcile, to forgive and forget, as it were. Now, as we Search for Tomorrow together we realized Texas may not be for us. As soon as he gets out of rehab, he’s coming home to Las Vegas to return to his regular job at the Kwik Mart.
