Sometimes the world looks unfamiliar.

A frozen land of the lost,
this world view seems surreal.
Nature’s mask a covering,
emitting an eerie feel.

Trees become ageless monsters
of times unseen and unknown.
Blankets of dreary shadows
whisper that you’re not alone.

The light on the horizon,
creates a path from sun rays.
Mystery beckons the soul
while logic warns to stay.

Skies of various colors
weave an inviting map.
Does travel lead to treasure
or a destructive trap?

Clouds shift in series of shapes
speaking of changes yet to come
Curiosity leads the mundane,
wondering where this magic’s from.
