A humorous poem about headaches and the saying 'the glass is half full'.
If headaches are a glass half empty
I surely want to avoid having any.
When my head is hurting, I feel distracted;
I care how little some people have acted.

If headaches are a glass half full,
Don’t they make these lives less dull?
With a hurting head, you’re so distracted;
You find you’re in tune with how others have acted.

Maybe how the headaches are created,
By friends or foes, or stress unrelated,
Or working tasks, which aren’t so delightful,
Can cause a reaction, not too insightful.

They always say that the glass is half full;
That positive thinking is the golden rule.
But once you understand that a headache’s no good
Failing to say it can be misunderstood!

Your head is a tool for specialty and grace;
When headaches occur in that wide open space,
Your thinking and acting aren't quite the exception;
All wrongdoing is still up for inspection.

When the glass is half full, we’re more invincible.
But headaches still happen when our courage is triple.
We all must behave with some purpose and resolve –
A headache is just another problem to solve.
