A cute, rhyming poem about our forefathers whom we've descended from.
The forefathers of humans, these land monkeys,
Carousing together, hanging from trees,
The older ones eat and clean their bodies,
While the young ones hunt, one of their hobbies.

Their long, mighty arms and strong, slender tails,
Swinging from trees, each brusquely inhales,
The sweet smelling aroma of the males and females,
The blithe mating season for these guys never fails.

Studied for years on many islands and capes,
Many rare, remote species descended from apes,
Preferring bananas, ripe mangos, and grapes,
With rigid, smooth heads upon non-lengthy napes.

All sizes of monkeys, cavorting on land,
Surviving in groups, often making their stand,
Doing what it is that their elders demand;
Mother Nature and God have so wonderfully planned.
