This is about a ten year old girl who is kidnapped by a drunk man.
I close my eyes,
I want to get out,
I scream and scream,
No one hears me shout.

My mouth is gagged,
My hands are tied,
I know what I need,
A place to hide.

I open my eyes,
And look around,
It’s dark and cold,
And I can’t hear a sound.

Will I be here forever?
Until I die?
I can’t die here, not now,
I start to cry.

Suddenly, I hear something,
Footsteps, getting near,
I see a tall man,
Holding a beer.

He looks at me,
And hits my face,
He yells at me,
“You’re such a disgrace!”

I hurt everywhere,
So I lie on the floor,
And wait for when,
The pain comes no more,

He makes me get up,
He kicks me again and again,
Why is he so mean?
I’m only ten.

He kicks me,
One final blow,
I hear a crack,
And then I know.

It’s over,
I’m going to die,
My body goes limp,
My throat feels dry.

It’s hard to breathe,
I pray to God,
That my family will be ok,
My head makes one final nod.

Everything goes dark,
I’m on my Deathbed,
I take one final breath,
And then I am dead.
