What is the human race?
  11/21/09

I was awakened by my radio clock. There was a conversation between
a CIA spokes person and a gameshow host. The fellow sounded like
Tom Bergeron. It went something like this:

Gameshow host: "Obama is from Hawaii. That's how I know he's Muslem."

CIA spokes person: "How does being from Hawaii make him Muslem?"

Gameshow host: "I know people there."

O.K. This started me thinking about geography and culture. I always
thought Mohammed was from the Middle East. Was he Hawaiin?
I needed a shower to clear my thoughts. After my shower I dressed for work.

Gameshow host: "I attended a meeting in New Hampshire between Palestinians
and Isrealis. It was a very productive meeting."

I paused with my HoneyCombs in my spoon. "Isn't the West Bank in Isreal?"
I thought and munched. Am I loosing touch with the world? I read an
    Aesop Fable:

                                The Fox and the Monkey

A fox and a monkey met on a road. They began to argue,
who was better born. The monkey pointed to the monuments
in a cemetery and sighed, "You see what my ancester put up
in honor of their forefathers, who are eminent men." The fox
laughed, "I'm sure none of them will rise up to denie it!"

I washed out my favorite cereal bowl. The one with the Leprachauns and
pondered the debate on the radio. Then, I shut off the alarm and hurried
  off to my work.

  Islam means submission to God.
But, how do you determine there is a God?
And why would an all powerful God allow so many religions?
A God or Gods will be heard.

It has been said that religion brings mental and moral certitude.
Why then is the penalty for leaving Islam death?
Moslem harems are practiced in the Arab Emerates ..
Polygamy is condoned in Leviticus as well as slavery.
  Is this moral?

If you question the existence of God in Saudi Arabia,
you will be arrested for heresy.
Do not make a cartoon of or mock God or Mohamed.
You will be threatened with death under Moslem law.
  Is this Radical Islam?

If I told you I spoke to God, would you believe me?
What if I warned you that if you didn't believe me
  I would kill you?
"When in the pages of sacred writ I come upon anything
that is contrary to the truth, I judge the text to be faulty,
that the translator did not strike the right meaning,
or simply I do not understand it." Saint Jerome wrote
about his transcription of the Douay Rheims version
  of the Bible.

Deuteronomy chapter 29: verse 21 states about
the false prophet, "Utterly destroy him out of all the
tribes of Israel, according to the curses that are contained
in the book of this law and covenant."
According to Deuteronomy Saint Jerome's doubt about
  sacred scripture is blasphemy ..

The Jews reject Mohamed as God's prophet.
  Who is right?
How can God allow such confusion over his prophet?
  Why does God allow evil?
There can be no compromise in Deuteronomy.

  Is this moral?
