When dusk becomes night, something follows ...
    VAMPIRE

I strode the road in a deathless swoon.
Bloodless beneath the gloomy moon.
Is what I have, a curse or a boon?
The need to feed consumes soon.

I crave the crimson fount you shed.
Wasting not the drops you bled.
After you have the famished fed,
To sleep eternal, I have led.

Awaiting the fall of the curtain of the night,
As darkness gorges on twilight.
I smile as my prey comes into sight.
Unseen from the shadows, comes this bite.
