THE NATURE OF LIFE

When living is unpredictable --
dry spells and passionate seasons collide
hot and steamy, then bone-chilling cold --
comfort exudes through rhapsody of rain,
malevolent thunderstorms.

Hold on, ride the tide --
tranquil ferris wheel and
roller-coasters do abide
between a defiant toddler and
hush of the unborn.
