In my youth I had no responsibility nor pressure in life.

My Youth

In years of my youth I experienced many thrills.
Hid in the honeysuckle vines and got cold chills.
A kid experiencing natures wonders by himself.
In my secret world life's hidden surprises I felt.

Life gave no pressure I was happy and carefree.
No decisions to make in life or any responsibility.
Live for today have fun and cast out any sorrows.
My mind drifted away and dreamed of tomorrow.

Not worried about the passing time in my youth.
Had many tomorrows to experience God's truth.
I grew into a young man reserved and very shy.
I stayed out of the limelight to frightened to try.

It seems I missed a lot out of life as a teenager.
Afraid to stand as a man and face all the danger.
An unknown fear has haunted deep in my mind.
Even to this very day it's not hard for me to find. .
