These are my words to mother nature
Your lavishing beauty
Is crumbling to ruins
As the ones
With hearts made of steel
Exploit your children,
Cutting you apart

They call you their mother
Those with hearts made of steel,
Yet they strip you apart
Ripping off the cord
That connects you
To your offspring

I hear them weep
Your offspring,
As the ones with hearts made of steel
Molest and rape them
I feel your sorrow
And your violent rage
As you try to warn them

You give them signs,
Yet they refuse to open their eyes
Instead they become
The bricks and steel
That they create

Not hearing
Not seeing
Not tasting
As you wipe them out
And try to begin anew

To help produce new generations
Of people
With hearts like yours
Made not of steel
But of fire and molten rock
