I hear the National Anthem, and all I can do, is feel,,,,, Pride!
Pride

I get goose-bumps on my arms
Every time I hear that song
The hair raises on my neck
It’s impossible to sit for long

I sing along and smile
And know that I’m so blessed
After all, I’m an American
To be anything else, is no contest

It’s a song about our country,
When it was ‘Oh so young’
About our Independence
And battles that were won

Many men have lost their lives,
To let us live here free,
So let us honor all of them,
And celebrate liberty

I love my country yes it’s true
It’s obvious in my face
I stand and cheer, weep and cry
Yet I’d not be in any other place

So sing the anthem, wave the flag
And cheer our men so brave
Keep them safe and in battle prevail
Long may Old Glory wave
