Pain, loneliness, death
With pain I die

I don't want to take my last breath

With tears of sorrow

I would rather smile at death

With happiness borrow

A laugh and kindness

Hold hands with the lonely

Than to feel spineless

Than to feel a heart so stoney

I wish that I could go

Into a ghostly place

Where not one tear to shed

Joy for my pain replace

I want to die

That is the fact

But no sad goodbye

My soul in tact

So death I await you

But can you bring

A lovely bird of blue

So that we both can sing
