Our painful childhood experiences still haunt us as adults.
The pain of a child hurts.
It hurts all the way through,
Down to the core.
Drawn out during growth,
Passed on into the adult.

The pain of a child never ends.
It grows, filling the crevices.
It resonates, trying to hide.
But it bleeds through.

The pain of a child disables.
It inhibits the full potential.
Beating down, it paralyzes,
Learning only to cope, only to survive.
