Listening to a little bird singing in the tree from my porch.

Little Bird Singing

Little bird do not fly away sing to me to make my day.
Help me forget all my regrets, heartaches and mistakes.
I am such a fool of evil hate I alone created all my fate.
No trust, it broke my heart our failed love tore us apart.

Your singing eases my pain this relief it keeps me sane.
Sing to me and stop the rain someday I'll be happy again.
Tell me how you feel on days when life becomes unreal.
Do you think of your shame and all the guilt that remains?

Let me be your friend today and forever come what may.
Your singing is sweet to my ears it takes away my fears.
It soothes my body and soul lets me again take control.
If only you could Always be singing there in that big tree.

I would sit here on my porch just to listen to your voice.
You have the voice of an angel sweet and tender of couse.
I will sit right here in my rocking chair and doze to sleep.
When I awake I hope to here your sweet voice in my ear.
