A Whisper in the Gray of Morn
Ghost

In silence flew the morning swan
A breath to bloom the face of dawn
Witnessed by the stillness cast
Echo of a life since past.

In awe, confusion pierced my heart
All reason from my mind did part
Gathered under silent swell
Fears did raise the pull of Hell.

Upon the hush horizon span
The essence wove above the land
Beguiled the heart of solemn grief
Delivers well a sought relief.

Hark, unto my soul a call
Soft and true, a kiss so small
Cease the beating in my breast
Take flight unto eternal rest
