A Terzanelle Poem written about police officers.

With honor, we wear our badges.
Day and night we are here to serve,
to protect citizens from harm and danger.

We demand peace and order on the streets.
We are called on by the people to mediate.
Day and night we are here to serve.

Always professional, our presence is respected.
Enforcing the law to the fullest extent,
we are called on by the people to mediate.

Routinely encountering the evils of this world,
our badges shine bright, unveiling all corruption,
enforcing the law to the fullest extent.

Working hard to prevent evil, overcoming good;
we try our best to apprehend those that cause offense.
Our badges shine bright, unveiling all corruption.

It's our duty, to protect and to serve;
without lawful order, chaos would abound.
We try our best to apprehend those that cause offense
to protect citizens from harm or danger.
