A poem about a minute of my life that made me look at who I am.
You're on the other side of the hall
I saw you for the first time this week
I only see your hair
But I know it's you
Should I go see you?
Can I pull myself together?
Would you free me of my asylum?
I'm not sure I can
Just don't reject me
Or say that you aren't ready
Because I'm scared
Break out of this trance
Repeating in my head is the dance
And ask her
I think I'll finally do it!
The search of the week
My life
Culminating to these next few minutes
I hope you'll smile
I walk faster to catch you
I round the corner
And you're gone.
