A poem about our comfort zone for accomplishments in career and sports.
Life can sometimes sustain us with its lucky
And interesting outcomes, or gratifying truths;
Other times, we can satisfy ourselves
With gifted clarity, solid reasoning, and good judgment.

But most of life’s cherished moments
Are related to skills and noteworthy endeavors
Which are not overtaxing or overburdening to us
With their devastating or developing extremes.

Staying even-keeled, focused, and prepared,
We charge forward with the most scintillating effort and regard;
And since we're not oblivious to the challenges we face
In the short, medium, and long-term,
Our immense blessings and good fortune
Mean we shall not be denied
Our saintly achievements
And bold opportunities
In the long run.
