An actress and psychic.
Lilian Gish was a popular actress of the silent movies.
But, like all artists she was very superstitious. She had a fear of
donating blood. In her mind blood carried the spirit of the donor.
Unfortunately, Miss Gish was a unique blood type and would be
called on to donate blood often. She claimed to have a psychic bond
with the people she donated blood too and would have premonitions
about impending disasters .. such as the Titanic.

Miss Gish donated blood to a newly wed young lady, Elie Winthrop.
The poor girl's husband booked a ticket on the Titanic to New York.
Miss Gish sent a letter to Elie, "I feel cold water all around me. You
must not take this journey." Elie was impressed with the actress concern
and convinced her husband to cancel their trip. .. The newlyweds went to
Paris for their honeymoon. And were shocked to read of the sinking of the
Titanic. Mr. Winthrop sent a telegram to the silver screen actress along
with a long silk scarf. The actress gratefully wore the scarf while driving her
convertible. The scarf entangled in some roadside branches as she drove
      and snapped her neck.

Reflections: Can anyone know the future?
