For my friend Isaac
He stood inside a brand new world
Foreign and unknown
Knowing that he'd have to stay and somehow
Make this place his home
Everything this boy once knew
Uprooted, left behind
Not a one did ask or even
Wonder if he'd mind
Time did pass, and this boy found that
Even when it's wrong,
People do as people's scars do-
They heal- and they move on.
