Spring Rain

Once upon a deep blue moon
That someone comes along
Makes you think of skies in June
And fills your heart with song

A smile that you can’t forget
With eyes bright as the sun
A shadow passes in between
You turn and they are gone.

Colors that were bright now fade
Sunsets lost their glow
Clouds now fill the misty glade
Was then their time to go.

Moments turn to hours
Days turn into years
Memories that were ours
Spring rain turned to tears.
