Ode to a Helmet

Once there was a shiny new Harley
Belonged to a dude named Charlie
He rode in all kinds of weather,
Protected by layers of leather.
I’ll ride a million miles he did boast
Sans helmet he left for the coast
He flew off a mountain
His blood squirted a fountain
And now poor old Charlie
Rides his shiny black Harley
As a member of the heavenly Host.
