For those who have lost a loved one at war.
I"LL ALWAYS BE THERE.

Hey! Over here! Can you hear me or see me?
I've come to tell you that my soul is now free!
For my loved ones and country, I gave my life
I cherished you then, as I do now, dear wife.

You cried and felt angry : I'd left you alone .
Waved your flag to Heaven when my mates came home.
I saw you : sent a breeze to dry your wet eyes,
As once, I told you, a brave wife never cries.

With strong upper lip and a proud held up chin ,
Gathered our children with a comforting grin,
You proudly walked 'round, sought families who cried,
And comforted those whose loved ones had died.

I saw you, my love : you were steadfast and strong.
For full well I knew you would be, all along.
Your strength will see you through life's bumpy road.
Remember, I'm here to help carry your load.

You will miss me, I know ~ well, I hope you will.
You have much more to do : your life to fulfill.
There are children to raise and grandkids as well.
With guidance, they'll prosper: I know, I can tell.

Whenever you feel life is too much to bear,
Call to me, think of me, I'll always be there.
I'll love you forever, as you love me too,
'Til we meet again, dear, I'll watch over you.

To all of the wives, left alone by the fight
Your Angel is with you, by day and by night.
I know, when I'm down and feel sad and alone,
I feel nudges and shivers ~ God's telephone!
