Sisters recall fond childhood memories
Echoes of Laughter

A phone call summoned thoughts from long ago,
of grassy banks, of sword and mighty bow.

Two sisters bound by blithe, unfettered play
roamed verdant hills and danced where valleys lay,

rode hard their steeds and fought unnumbered foe
and ruled their kingdom, trav'ling to and fro.

Fair laughter flew like fireflies o'er the vale
and fluttered through the oaks above the dale.

And, now, remembrance kindles joy anew,
and mem'ries touch as gently as the dew.
