I see the streaks of lightning and hear the roaring sound of thunder.

Sight And Sound

Thunder roars, and lightning soars.
Streaking bright and dancing light.
Streaking at will an illuminated thrill.
Frightening source with natural force.

Instant warning danger now forming.
Earth's attraction a charged reaction.
Enormous force and random coarse.
Hidden selection a potential direction.

Frightening sound Earth's to ground.
Voltage omission lightnings ignition.
A flash of light that has taken flight.
The loud boom creates noisy room.

I tremble with fear the danger is near.
God's using His power for a few hours.
Danger streaks as the lightning peaks,
Thunder awakes as the silence breaks.

As quick as it started it has departed.
It'll be back another rainy day in fact.
I'll wait until then it'll be back again.
The lightning soars and thunder roars.
