A letter style poem about lovers separated by war. PLEASE REVIEW!!!!!!!!!
To My Dearest;

It really is a lie you know-
that absence makes the heart grow fonder,
as it’s barely long enough to count
by days and not by hours,
yet each aching moment I long to see you.
It is often that thoughts of you consume me,
as I find myself rereading each letter
and caressing each photo of your iridescent beauty
while dreaming dreams of beloved adoration.
It worries me how long we are parted,
and casting aside all impure thoughts
I yearn for your warmth beside me,
to hold you in my arms each night.
Delightful anticipation rises within my heart,
for each passing day draws us closer;
and when I awaken each sunrise
my desire is renewed, and I think each time
“one more day is passed, not much longer now.”
Yes, not much longer, but agonizing still,
The anxiety of thinking, dreading, hoping,
praying that your heart still pines for mine.
I find myself jealous of even the milkman,
who should see your radiance before I do.
But each letter you send quiets such fears
for I feel your heart in every last one;
and know that our reunion draws near,
as like a siren’s song, your love calls me home.
