The lonesome heart of a lady
A trace of rotting flesh lingers in the air
Condemned and diminishing with every somber tick
Salacious longing for a naive girl
Crisp white satin lay against her stretched out limbs
Thorns to prick her supple skin
At her bosom a shining beacon of hope
At her side, an indestructible shield
Does she shed a tear for a life once lost
or does she shed a tear for the oncoming storm
