Drive away, you're on the run from life as you know it
I speed along the open road,
No one in sight, I’m all alone,
My hands on the wheel and not a care,
As the wind blows and ruffles my hair.

My windows down and soft top off,
Engine roaring as I speed along,
The never ending road, I’m in heaven,
With petrol fumes and smells of leather.

My car gleams red in the sizzling Sun,
What are memories when you’re on the run?
They can’t catch me, I’ll go forever,
Just keep driving, the further, the faster, the longer,
The better.
